Robert Fruhlinger, O.D.

During more than 50 years in private practice, Dr. Fruhlinger received accolades for his dedication to patient care and to the optometry profession. His background includes several years as school optometrist for the Oakmont School District, serving on the board of directors for the Western Pennsylvania Optometric Society, and secretary for the Vision Conservation Institute. He was named a Melvin Jones Fellow – the highest honor given by the Lions Club for his leadership and service to the organization, and voted “Optometrist of the Year” by readers of Gateway Publications. Dr. Fruhlinger received his doctorate from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry and continues to serve as a consultant to the practice.
